Our quality management system is defined and operated by a quality manual and quality procedures.Our system is implemented so to meet the specific contractual and technical requirements of each individual project and customer. Our QAHSE manager is responsible to the Managing Director for defining the quality management system, maintaining it and for continually improving the process to meet standards.The QAHSE manager is also responsible for identifying quality problems and initiating effective solutions. SPL operates strict inspection and testing methods, set out by recognised industry standards & specifications. Our team are well trained and subject to operational development plans, ensuring continual quality professionalism.


airbuslogoSPL currently holds 19 Aerospace Regulatory and Customer Approvals covering surface engineering, metal finishing, heat treatment, non-destructive examining & Paint, granted by national & international aerospace and defence companies. Major approvals held Include:

Nadcap, Airbus, Rolls Royce Uk, Rolls Royce Deutschland, Bae Systems, Bombardier, Goodrich Actuation Systems, Goodrich Power Systems, Hawker Beechcraft, Flight Refuelling, Slingsby Aviation, GKN Aerospace, Midland Aerospace, AS 9100, Cobham Mission Systems, FR Hi-Temp, HS Marston Aerospace, Raytheon Aircraft, Spirit Aerosystems.
