I just wanted to update you on SPL Treatments activity during the COVID-19, Coronavirus outbreak.

SPL Treatments are actively and continuously monitoring the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak in line with local and national authorities, public health advisories and WHO guidelines.

In order to protect the health and wellbeing of our employees and maintain high service levels to our customers during this unprecedented period we have deployed a number of measures to safeguard our business and minimum any risk to our employees and customers alike.

 Below is an example of the measures we have put in place to date: –

  • Directors and senior managers leadership crisis team established and in operation.
  • Overseas business travel has ceased in all but emergency situations.
  • Visits to our sites by customers, supplier and contractors have been postponed in all but emergency situations.
  • Any visitors or contractors deemed essential, will be temperature checked as well as completing Coronavirus Health Questionnaire.
  • Any UK meetings to be carried out via Microsoft teams wherever possible.
  • Visual aid reminders throughout the site re hand washing / hygiene routines.
  • Hand sanitise stations placed in various locations within the buildings and all employees supplied with anti-bacterial wipes for hands and equipment.
  • Mandatory use of gloves for anyone entering or operating in production areas.
  • Temperature screening for all employees and visitors.
  • Shift workers have been staggered so there is no overlapping during shift changeover.

SPL Treatments are committed to ensuring the best possible service through these difficult times and are taking all necessary precautions to reduce the risk of exposure.

We are operating on a business as usual basis and will strive to ensure minimum business impact.
